  Sidenotes

  (1) Judgment Day and a New Heaven and a New Earth have already been presented in Chapter 7.

  (2) These “times” are scattered all throughout the passages of In God’s Love.  I have tried to put them in a loose thematic order.

  (3) IGL 79:21-29
  (4) I have joined together similar sorrows.  How many different sorrows and in what order, is anyone’s guess.  Some of these woes, as has been mentioned, may actually be a part of the Seven Woes.

Chapter 17 The Messengers' Observations About
Things that are Going to Happen
                       Before Judgment Day 1/5

            Preface

746         The focus of Chapter 17 is the messengers’ observations about events that are going to happen before Judgment Day.  The purpose of “The Presentation” is to see if In God’s Love contradicts the deposit of the faith of the Catholic Church.  The Church has no interest in predicting the future and encourages the faithful to be unconcerned about predictions.  The concern of the faithful is to be ready for judgment, be it our individual judgment upon our death, or the judgment of the world.  Since this Chapter does not deal with theology or morals, but merely the messengers’ observations about future events before Judgment Day, one could view this Chapter as unnecessary and omit writing it or on your part, reading it.  It is written for three reasons.  First, to eliminate the fear that, even though these are just observations about future events, these observations could lead to conclusions that could contradict the faith.  For example, IF they were to observe that the Church ended before Judgment Day or IF they were to observe that a second Messiah, the fourth person God is soon to be revealed or IF they were to observe that there was no Judgment Day and the Earth would be ruled by aliens then cease to exist forever, then any of these would be in conflict with our faith.  HOWEVER none of this is the case.  Recall that they stated that nothing they write contradicts this sacred institution, which I believe is the Catholic Church.  Second, this Chapter is written to satisfy the curiosity of the reader.  What is going to happen to us and our planet?  Third, it is written so this can be a thorough review of In God’s Love.

           Introduction

747           Scattered all throughout the book In God’s Love are observations that there will be a “time of _______” (sorrow, war, renewal, something) that that will happen.  For the most part I have not been able to discern any chronological pattern for these “times”, yet the messengers felt them significant enough to mention.  The first part of this Chapter has a non-chronological presentation of future events or “times” that are going to happen.  These events may be a part of the Seven Woes, they may come before the Seven Woes, or they may come before and during the Woes.  These events or “times” may have already happened, or be happening, because the bulk of In God’s Love was written in 1970’s, starting in September 1973.  The second part of this Chapter presents the Seven Woes which make up a very organized part of In God’s Love.  Before reading the Second Part of this Chapter, I would encourage you to read the passages # 227 through #244, but not on a day when you are depressed.  These passages will take us through all Seven Woes, with the Seventh Woe being Judgment Day.  It will take us into the discussion of the New Heaven and a New Earth.(1)   In much the same way that the church insists on celebrating the suffering, death and resurrection of Christ in one Mass, so too, the suffering, death, and recreation of Earth should be read together.  These events have been separated here in “The Presentation” because, while Judgment Day and a New Heaven and a New Earth are a part of our deposit of faith, the events that lead up to the Day of Judgment are not a part of our deposit of faith.

Part 1 A Non-Chronological Presentation of Future Events
that Will Happen Before Judgment Day

                      Section 1 Twelve Different Times

748           In the book In God’s Love there are at least twelve different “times” mentioned.  While they will be introduced as one through twelve, this is not a chronological presentation.(2)   First, there will be a time of persecution for the true Church, which I hold is the Catholic Church.  The messengers warn, “Christ pours out His Spirit on His true church, and you know where you stand in her shelter.  Very movement against her is close.  Sad is this movement.  Such foolishness in man.  Rise up, true church.  Stand against the storm.  God shall not let you be deceived.  In God’s love. Amen.”(3)

749           Second there will be a time, or probably times, of such sadness, sorrow and woe.(4)    These that are generally mentioned as “See a sorrowful time on the Earth…. Close is the time when God shall let vice run out of His Earth,”(5)    There will be much strife on the Earth: “Such stress shall not escape anyone who is on the Earth.”(6)   The children of God will have to endure sadness: “And the time of times is the last days.  Blessed are the children of God who have endured this sadness.  Earth rises in her setting and shakes on her foundation.  Such sounds of agony are heard on the Earth in this time of times.”(7)

750           Another type of sorrow is that there will be a time when those who are rich will have their possessions taken away: “See proud places, high and secure, seeking not God’s love.  See the walls crumble and your possessions taken away.  This is the time of such sadness.  Rest, little ones of God, in squatters shacks and bamboo huts…… Seek not the riches of Earth.  Not one shack or one hut or one dwelling in such love of God’s in such a time shall see destruction”(8)

751           In these sorrows, sometimes the term “God’s wrath” is mentioned. It is good to review what has been mentioned(9)   as the definition of God’s wrath.  The messengers state, “This is all He (God) asks of Earth people.  He asks to be loved and respected.  The very nature of God is kindness…  When Earth people turn away from God, they are on their own.  The protection of God is lost.  The wrath of God is upon the unprotected spirit, if that is what you want to call it.”(10)

752           Some of the sorrows, not all of them, are chastisements from God.  God chastises so that people will be motivated to repent.  The messengers encourage people to accept God’s chastisements, for they write, “God is King. Say to Him, ‘We accept your will, blessed King.  We accept Your just punishments.’  This is our salvation.  This is so wise.  Let us come in sorrow so that our sorrow will cease in a time; rather we suffer in Father’s righteous wrath.”(11)  They also write that we should not pray for the chastisements to end, but rather that it will be effective. They explain, “If your brother or sister or father or mother does not seek God, do not sing out in this time…. ask only this, ‘That those whom you love on the Earth shall turn their faces to God and come with you blessed ones.’  Do not pray for the chastisement to be taken away, lest your brother lose his soul…. Realize if you grieve for your mother,  God does not cause such sorrow.  This wicked woman causes your grief.  Rise up, O wise, little ones, understand in such spirits, kind ones, God has been so insulted.  So cursed are those spirits who insult our Beloved.  So stay with Him.  Show Him your love above all else.”(12)   Not everyone will be chastised: “In such times, the righteous saints see mercy.  This sadness is the punishment of bad children, and the saints shall be blessed.”(13)

753           Those who reject God will see a time of sorrow: “Righteous God sends in another chance for man to return to Him.  Return, O people of Earth.  In such a time, you need God’s love and mercies.  God calls out to all men who will listen…. This is the time of God’s Spirit coming on the Earth so sweetly.  All who are seen in God’s love shall take God’s Spirit within their souls, and such joy shall be theirs.  All who refuse God’s Spirit shall see a sorrowful time on the Earth.”(14)

754           Those who accept God will be with God, and those left behind will experience woe: “All those who are not of God shall see His wrath.  Very sorry shall these people of Earth be.  Where some shall enter, others who have not seen in Earth shall be left behind in such pain.  While some accept God’s blessed Spirit, others have not, and those who have not accepted shall be left behind in such sorrow.”(15)    Yet, even in sorrowful times, God does not abandon the Earth: “In such a sorrowful time on Earth, be so thankful, small ones, that God has not left you alone on Earth.”(16)

755           During these times of sorrow, if we cry out in repentance, God will save us.  The messengers write of this hope: “In such a time, virtue cries out in this way, ‘O God, we understand. Spare us, O Lord.’ In this sadness, in such sorrow, many come.  King is our God.  Swift is His hand.  In sorrow, come quickly.  Make no delay.  Swiftly comes God’s justice.  In righteous splendor is our God.  Blessed saints are taken.  This is not God’s wrath, neither is it sorrowful.  Weep not.”(17)

756           Third, some will experience the “wrath of God,” with its sorrow, but it is not seen by God’s children.  I discern that there appears to be a distinction between “wrath of God,” which is full of sorrow and sorrow that does not come from the “wrath of God”.  The messengers state that “This time of sorrow comes on all men on the Earth.  Only God’s saints shall be freed from God’s wrath.”(18)   So while “all” experience this “time of sorrow”, only those who are not God’s saints will suffer God’s “wrath”.  To put it another way they state, “Stress shall come to all, but God’s elect shall not suffer His wrath.  God will not punish His beloved.”(19)

757           I also detect a difference between the ways saints experience suffering and people not of God experience suffering.  All people experience suffering, but the saints are comforted in their sorrow.  As the messengers write, “Sorrow is not in the saints.   In all the sufferings of the saints of Earth, blessed songs of happiness are heard.  In the spirits of such children, sorrow comes soon.  On Earth, saints shall see comfort in this sorrow.”(20)   How I read this is that when saints experience suffering, their song of life remains a joyful song to the Lord.  It is also mentioned that they are comforted.  Perhaps it is because they are comforted that they can remain joyful, or perhaps it is because they remain a blessed song that they are comforted.  Perhaps both are true.  At any rate, two things are clear.  The saints will be comforted in their sorrow and their song will remain happy.

758           The children of God are called: “O weary Earth children of God, in this, understand: you are called in very swiftly.”(21)   Those who are in Christ do not see the suffering of the time of times, or the wrath of God: “Children of God, rejoice. You who are in Christ shall not see such sorrow.  You who are not in God’s Spirit shall not escape such sorrow in this time of times.”(22)   They also write, “Kind spirits who are in God’s blessings do not see the day of such sorrow. God prepares a place for His beloved saints.”(23)

759           Fourth, there will be a time of cleansing for active homosexuals.  The messengers issue a warning to those who are “waiting”, living their life on Earth, about what is to come to those who practice homosexuality: “While you wait, remember Sodom’s punishment.  O such sadness came on that day.  Very same is in store for all such vicious spirits who take this nature.”(24)   They write that “Soon, very soon, this sin shall see an end.  All who practice such acts are seen taking this inspirational message with an unquenching fire that shall burn the spirit both day and night, O God, in all your wrath.  In this state, God will very swiftly strike this unruly group on Earth in such a time.  In this swift cleansing, Sodom was a small sign of wrath compared with what is to come.  Small, tiny Sodom, God came on that day so swiftly.  So swiftly He comes.”(25)   I note that the messengers use the words “practice such acts” and not “those who are tempted to do this sinful activity”.  A more complete presentation on this issue was presented earlier,(26)  but this is what the messengers observe is going to happen to active homosexuals.
